Abere is a tropical rainforest tree that grows in West Africa. It is botanically known as Hunteria Umbellata it belongs to Apocynaceae family.

It is used in the African medicine "Natural  Remedy" for the treatments blood deficiencies, infections, swellings, diabetes mellitus, and obesity etc.

"Abeere" or "Abere" pronounced as "ha-bay-ray" is the Yoruba name for Huntaria umbellata seed (Nkpokiri in Igbo) Abere is a tropical rainforest tree that grows in West Africa. Its’ botanical name is Hunteria Umbellata belonging to Apocynaceae family

HOW TO USE ABERE SEEDS

THE POWDER 

Add half a teaspoon to some water (coconut water is ideal) and drink in morning and at night.

THE DRY SEEDS 

. Remove the outer skin of the seed, and give a quick rinse

. Soak about 15-20 seeds in one litre of water overnight.

. Shake the bottle daily before drinking, repeat the process daily until water is used up.

. Top up with more water and continue drinking daily until water is no longer bitter.

. Recommended dosage: Drink 100 - 150 ml once a day

. Alternatively some (especially the older generations) are used to Abere's bitter taste and prefer to chew the whole seed (1-2 seeds a day) as part of their health and well being regimen

N/B; The colour of the seed might be dark, orange or yellowish, do not worry, it is still good and vrry much effective, we dry for preservation.
